Prenatal Care

We commit a full hour to each prenatal appointment. This hour is dedicated to checking on the physical health and well-being of you and your baby. It is also a time for us to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. This allows a relationship to be built based on trust and communication. Prenatal visits are scheduled once a month until 28 weeks, every two weeks from 28-36 weeks, and once a week until birth.

• Support with breastfeeding initiation

• Newborn assessment and care for 6 weeks after birth

• Breastfeeding support

• Postpartum care, including several home visits, for 6 weeks after birth

• Pre-conception counseling

• Free pregnancy tests

• Nutrition assessment and counseling

• Hand-crafted plant and herbal care products

• Referrals to birth workers trained to work with the pregnant body and baby, including bodywork practitioners, doulas, childbirth education, placenta processing, photographers, yoga teachers, birth kit suppliers, water birth tub rentals, lactation consultants, pediatricians, and the list goes on.
